Recently, GyörökGép Kft.’s machine relocation project for ADA Nova Kft. was a complex process, taking place at several sites in Zalaegerszeg and Anger, Austria. We are proud to be chosen by a company with such a long history and excellence in furniture manufacturing.
ADA furniture factory started seventy years ago and has grown from a small Austrian family mattress manufacturer into one of Europe’s largest furniture manufacturers. Today it develops and manufactures furniture in five factories in Austria, Hungary and Romania. ADA factories have a total floor area of over 170,000 square metres and their seating sets and beds have conquered the most important furniture stores in Western Europe and are very popular with customers. The group is still headquartered in Anger, Austria, and more than 2,500 employees work to fulfil the company’s philosophy of customer satisfaction as its main goal.

Stage 1: The ADA Nova Ltd. site in Zalaegerszeg
The first stop of our project was the ADA Nova Kft. site, where the day started with an education in occupational safety and then we got acquainted with the site. Afterwards we dismantled the machinery and prepared it for transport. Here our first task was to move the machinery to another hall within the site.
Although it may not sound like a big job at first, moving a line of machines within a site is actually the same as moving the machines to a completely different location. We get to know the equipment to be dismantled, we plan the entire dismantling process and logistics. When dismantling, we precisely mark the machine components, paying attention to every detail and part, so that we can install the machines at a new site at any time.
The team of GyörökGép. has more than 20 years of experience in machine installation, maintenance and installation, and we know that improper installation can affect the whole life of the line, even causing frequent failures, production losses, and even shortening the life of the equipment.
ADA Nova Ltd. provided the truck for the transfer to the new hall within the Zalaegerszeg site and the crane and forklift for the unloading. Finally, the unloading of the machine to the designated place started.
Stage 2: Anger, Austria
One week after the relocation started, the GyörökGép team travelled to Anger, Austria, the 2nd location of the project, where we continued our work. The machine line here was dismantled and prepared for transport in 2 days. On the third day the machines were delivered and unloaded at the new site in Zalaegerszeg.
Zalaegerszeg again – Assembly and test run
In Zalaegerszeg, we completed the installation, precise assembly and wiring of the machines in two days, followed by the trial run, during which the necessary fine tuning was also carried out.
Finally, at our customer’s request, we dismantled and palletised the gluing cabinets and moved the spring dismantling machine and the sponge cutting machine to their designated places.
The relocation project was successfully completed in all locations, the logistical challenges were efficiently handled by the GyörökGép team. The machines and trucks provided by ADA Nova Ltd. Our team completed the tasks within the planned timeframe, so the machine was in production 3 days ahead of schedule.ű
Summary – Professional machine relocation from Zalaegerszeg to Anger
This project is an excellent example of how the GyörökGép team handles complex industrial machine relocation tasks involving multiple sites. The project, commissioned by ADA Nova Kft., proved that well-planned, professionally executed machine relocation can not only be safe and fast, but can also provide significant benefits to the customer – the machines were back in operation three days ahead of schedule.
The key to success: precise disassembly, accurate logistics, professional assembly and trial operation, all carried out reliably across multiple countries. This is the quality that GyörökGép Kft. guarantees its partners – in any industry, in any country.
❓ FAQ – Machine relocation and international machine transport
1. What is the difference between relocating a machine within a site and between countries?
Basically, the process is the same from a technical point of view: disassembly, identification of components, safe transport, reassembly, and trial operation. International projects also involve additional logistical and customs challenges – the GyörökGép team is prepared for these as well.
2. How long does it take to relocate a machine line?
It depends on the complexity of the project and the distance, but in the case of ADA Nova Kft., for example, the GyörökGép team was able to handle three locations on time, even faster than planned. Depending on the project, the complete relocation of a machine line can usually take from a few days to a week.
3. Do I need to provide a crane, forklift, or truck?
It depends on the order. In the case of the ADA Nova project, for example, the equipment was provided by the customer, but GyörökGép is flexible – we can even organize complete transportation and lifting.
4. Is there a warranty for the machine installation carried out by GyörökGép?
Yes, we provide a warranty for all our commissioning work and, upon request, we also provide maintenance and service contracts to ensure that the machine continues to operate reliably in the long term.
5. In which industries do you undertake machine installation?
We work in a wide range of diverse industries. Our experience covers the furniture industry, automotive industry, electronics manufacturing, food industry, and virtually any other field where precise, industrial-level machine movement and commissioning is required.
